Hey! i saw some of your stuff and i am very impressed! I am thinking about getting into tattooing also, what tips do you have for a young artist getting into tattooing.

Draw, alot. Paint, sketch, airbrush whatever. Try to develop your own style of drawing that you will carry into tattooing. Get a portfolio together and go to some of the local tattoo shops and check out the artist's work. Find someone you like and beg for an apprenticeship. DO NOT start tattooing out of your house without training because you can and most likely will ruin someone's life without properly sterilizing your equipment.

Basically just concentrate on your artwork until you get an apprenticeship with someone and then learn as much as you can! Good luck!

and you've only been doing it a year? That's really cool, and gives me some hope haha, I really want to be a tattoo artist when I'm older.
